Oregon Wine Experience: A Blend of Good Wine and a Good Cause

Oregon knows wine, and the region’s wines are exploding in popularity. For this piece, I got to interview a local vintner, JP Valot, who is the winemaster at a successful vineyard and also owns his own label. Amazing! All in support of a good cause.

Oregon Wine Experience will host its signature celebration August 17-21, showcasing winemakers from around the state for five days of tastings, competition, and philanthropy. After two years of hosting the event virtually, the 2022 edition will return to an in-person format at a new location: Stage Pass, a seven-acre site near Jacksonville, Oregon. Housed under a 38,000 square foot tent among the vines, 100% of proceeds raised will benefit the Asante Foundation, in support of its local Children’s Miracle Network hospital.
