Dine the Couve: Dig In for Great Eats

“Dine the Couve” is an annual event that highlights local restaurants in Southwest Washington, each offering a special 3-course menu for $25. With new restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic, this event took on special meaning in 2020 as a way to support small businesses through a difficult season. For the piece, I interviewed the co-owners of Rally Pizza, who were participating in the event.

For the 2020 edition of Dine the Couve, an event hosted every October by Visit Vancouver USA, 36 restaurants across Clark County will be offering up three-item menu specials for $25. New this year, many participating restaurants will offer takeout options for their specials. The promotion has also moved to a full- day event, so diners can find breakfast and lunch options in addition to dinner deals.

“We’re excited to present the opportunity for diners to get out and try a new restaurant or support one of their favorites,” said Michelle Mackenzie, director of marketing and communications at Visit Vancouver USA, “We hope that this gives the restaurants a much needed boost and that folks have a chance to satisfy their cravings.”
