‘Building success together’ earns General Sheet Metal 2021 Top Workplaces honor

Some people are so genuine, it’s hard not to root for them. This was certainly the case with the crew at General Sheet Metal, who were so pumped to earn a winning spot in the Top Workplaces competition for 2021. Go get ‘em!

“In an industry hard-hit by the coronavirus pandemic, GSM has remained nimble, often managing modified timelines or disrupted supply chains. Part of that flexibility also included finding new ways to support employees and partners.

At the onset of COVID-19, construction was deemed essential work, and GSM ensured their teams in the field remained safe and operational.

“The situation meant taking on a unique need,” said True, “We had to find a way to keep everyone safe and to find enough PPE to keep everyone employed.” GSM checked in regularly with workers and increased communication during a difficult time. ”
