This was an interesting project as interviews were scheduled for the same day as the region was evacuated due to wildfires. With a tight deadline, interviewees were accommodating and much of the conversation took place over email amongst the mayhem.

With an estimated 15,000 patient visits per year, and approximately 300 procedures per week, the team at the Surgery Center run an efficient operation with no signs of slowing down

Fun events, employee benefits, and a family-like atmosphere has kept the team at the Surgery Center of Southern Oregon running an efficient operation for over 22 years. As one of the busiest centers in Oregon, the core staff of over 100 people sees an average of 300 patients per week, but still finds time to maintain a sense of community and camaraderie that makes working at the Surgery Center unique.
